Certificates of Natural Cosmetics

To date, in order to guarantee the high quality of natural cosmetics, different standards have been developed. For many consumers this label is still unknown and they feel confused. Special attention must be paid to these labels and certificates because many conventional cosmetics manufacturers advertise their products as "natural", "organic" and "bio" because they are enriched with vegetable raw materials, while their composition can be seen as containing harmful chemical products, paraffins and silicones.

Although there are still no common standards for the certification of natural cosmetics, several systems have been developed to define clear guidelines. The ecological cultivation of the underlying components is an indispensable requirement. Other criteria include the prohibition of mineral and animal raw materials, as well as the control of manufacturing processes and product conservation.
